    Hi Karba,

    Still no plan about the most wanted feature ; caustics?

    I think it's time to implement it to FStorm Render. Thanks to consider.

    I take this silence as a negative consideration. I'm sad. And probably not the only one.

      I remember last year seeing a paper (involving henrik Wann Jensen and other 2 guys) with an amazing aprox. method GPU-based of progressive photon mapping (or path traced...??). Can't find it right now. Still searching...

        Found it! I believe it's pretty old. Maybe more modern and/or polished algorithms out there by 2019 but, just in case:

          No plans for caustic.
          Photon mapping may be good for pure walls and simple geometry, but if you have something more complex, it fails in most cases.
