  • Displacement size limits ?

    I'm trying to render a TIF displacement map 23040x11520 but RT freezes at "displacement processing: 976/1000".

    Render limit reached or i need to wait for year to finish processing?

    EDIT: Second answer after many minutes it's unfreezed !

    Do you use 16bits dipslacement?
    Have you set mono type in fstorm bitmap?

      Yes, colordepth 16bits map (uint). But only the first loading takes around 10 minutes, the next times, RT update reloads file quickly. Probably while it stays in memory

      Would it be possible to add 32bits (float) TIFF map support (can't open map when i try to select file), or it's a 3dsmax limitation ?

          Not sure for the first rendering, i don't remember sorry, but probably yes.
